Ms. Kanika Chawla is an IBDP and IGCSE English facilitator at AGS. She has pursued BA (Hons.) English and MA in English literature from University of Delhi. She has also received her degree in B.Ed. from University of Delhi in the year 2014. She qualified CTET in same year. She has worked with N.C.E.R.T. as a Vetter for a brief period in the year 2015 where she partially vetted a text named ‘Padhne ki Samajh’, a book supporting primary school teachers in teaching language. She has successfully worked with The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj for over four years where she was a member of the P.T.A. and efficiently implemented learning strategies such as Expedition Design framework, UBD (Understanding by Design), Theatre in Education and many more. She has been teaching at AGS, Gurugram since March 2019. As a part of Expedition Design-Courage to Teach, a work of hers has been published by Disha India Education Foundation in the year 2016. Her interests lie in post-partition and diasporic literature.
