AGS students are doing practice at home for fencing. It helps in improving coordination, strength, flexibility, reflection, decision making ability, speed and agility. Fencing is art and practice of attack and defense with the sword. Fencing is a group of three related combat sports. The three disciplines in modern fencing are the foil, the epee and the sabre. Fencing was one of the first sports to be played in the Olympics, based on the traditional skills of sword fighting.
Archery is the practice or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. The word comes from the Latin arcus meaning ‘bow’ or ‘arch’. As a sport, archery requires skills of precision, control, focus, repetition and determination. Archery is an ancient sport that has evolved a number of variations in format. Archery is an extremely accessible sport in countries around the world. It is a sport for all ages and abilities – and can be as recreational or competitive as the person taking part wants!
